Lofi Tab stores certain data locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and includes:

• Todo items: Tasks you create within the extension
• Pomodoro timer settings: Your preferred focus and break durations, session counts
• Background preferences: Your selected or favorited background images
• UI preferences: Dropdown states and other interface settings

This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

1.2 Weather Data

To display weather information, we use your approximate location (based on your IP address) to fetch weather data from OpenWeather API. We do not store your location data on our servers.

1.3 Analytics

We use PostHog for anonymous analytics to understand how users interact with Lofi Tab. This helps us improve the extension. The analytics data collected includes:

• Anonymous usage patterns (e.g., which features are used most)
• Error reports to help us fix bugs
• Browser and device type (anonymized)

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or any content from your todos or other personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used to:

• Provide weather information based on your approximate location
• Improve the extension based on anonymous usage patterns

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties, except:

• OpenWeather API: Your approximate IP-based location is shared with OpenWeather to provide weather data
• PostHog: Anonymous analytics data is processed by PostHog

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can clear this data at any time by:

• Clearing your browser's localStorage
• Uninstalling the extension
• Using your browser's developer tools to manage stored data

• Delete: Clear all locally stored data at any time
• Opt-out: Disable analytics by using browser privacy settings or extensions that block tracking

6. Children's Privacy

Lofi Tab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
